Drawing from over 10,000 hours of hands-on session experience to bring you an integrative bodywork modality, tailored and adapted to best serve you.
Bodywork can be an art form not unlike jazz; grounded in the fundamentals and theory of the Body and its functions, yet collaborative, intuitive and adaptive to the dynamic flow and changing needs throughout a session. What I bring to my table is a blend of extensive treatment experience using a clinical orthopedic approach, classic deep tissue and other massage techniques, assisted unwinding, active release methods, biomechanical expertise, Craniosacral Therapy, presence, and intuition. Observations of the Body’s wisdom, rhythms, subtle anatomy and unified systems inform my work. Deep, anchoring pressure is often combined with easeful movements to create an environment for the body to release and shift patterning.
Other integrations to my approach include: Prenatal, intra-oral, myofascial cupping, instrument-assisted, sports recovery, and five-element theory
FITNESS TRAINING
My personal training programs developed from a passion for empowerment and education, and are fully customized for the individual. Holding additional certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist using The BioMechanics Method, Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, and Functional Training Specialist, I will identify impactful opportunities and apply strategic exercise interventions to get you on track and meeting YOUR fitness goals. My clients follow and graduate from programs with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of human movement, including both how to optimize their physical training and properly manage the forces exerted on them throughout the day. Together we can utilize these principles to build a rock-solid postural foundation and have you moving better, being stronger, prevent those nagging pains and injuries, and hit those PRs. Tailored mobility programming is included, and also available without an exercise program. For those seeking a journey into deeper mind-body awareness, I also coach mindful exercise and unwinding practices for self care. The majority of trainees will be meeting with me once or twice per month in-office, and will be confidently following their personalized programs at home or in gym settings.
